The judiciary system of Iran has officially launched its widespread attack on websites and weblogs, according to a report from Iran newspaper (does anyone know the English references to this news?) The basic principles of the charges they are talking about is no different from what they have previously used against reformists, dissidents and opposition groups in Iran: general accusations such as insulting the religious law or confusion of public opinion and such vague and ambiguous terms which would give anyone the authorization for threatening the very basic civil rights of every citizen. Through this new law, the judiciary system will have the authority to limit everyone’s access to the internet in Iran. It appears that the hardliners’ triumph in the parliamentary elections has been very intoxicating to them. They are determined to remove all the vices and germs that they believe the reformists have spread in Iran.
